California Hotshot Crews Deploy Linville Complex Incident, June 25, 2007 — Sycuan Hotshot crew drives 250 miles to Bakersfield, California, joins three other Calif. hotshot crews, and board a NIFC federal government charter jet airplane en route to North Carolina to fight wild fires.

The BIA-Sycuan Golden Eagles Hotshots IHC firemen and firewomen of Southern California maintain an active firefighter lifestyle at Base Camp on the Sycuan Indian Reservation...these photos are of the Sycuan Fire Department's Wildland Division compound firefighter training and crew berthing facilities, i.e., the Golden Eagles Hotshots IHC Base Camp (headquarters) which is staffed all year by staff firefighters...during the San Diego County fire season in Southern California, seasonal firefighters are re hired and the hotshot crew personnel rotated three on, 4 off? and a qualified IHC firefighting crew is on call 24/7...
