The Navajo Hotshots are an elite BIA-funded IHC Native American federal fire-fighting crew based on the Navajo Region Forestry Complex, Gallup, New Mexico.

The Navajo Interagency Hotshot Crew (NIHC) was established in 2002.

The NIHC is a highly-specialized, 20-person wildland fire fighting crew governed by the U.S Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Navajo Region.

As a BIA interagency crew, NIHC is a national fire-fighting resource for helping suppress wildland fires, including assisting in support efforts following catastrophic disasters.
